Tide.lamp Guarantee

Every Tide.lamp includes a free 2 year guarantee from the date of purchase.

In the unlikely event of your Tide.lamp requiring a repair, our guarantee provides a repair service delivered by authorised service technicians. For a period of 2 years from your purchase of Tide.lamp and providing the warranty sticker on the bottom of the lamp is intact and the lamp has not been opened your Tide.lamp can be returned to us for an authorised repair free of charge.

Product faults

Should your product develop an issue, you can look to find a solution using our support@tidelight.co.uk or the user guide.

If you cannot find a solution, you can log a call at support.tidelight.co.uk with our technical support team.

Have your serial number, order number and date of purchase to hand when you call. The serial number will be found on the warranty sticker on the bottom of the lamp. The other information will be on your original receipt - this acts as your guarantee, so please make sure you keep it safe.

If we can't repair your product, we'll replace it with the same model. In some cases, we may provide a replacement product that has been refurbished or remanufactured to manufacturer-approved standards. These units are fully tested and guaranteed.

If you contact our technical support team, they’ll ask you to use the following service to send your product for repair:

Please return the product in the original packaging, or, if this is no longer available, in a suitable container with adequate packaging to avoid any damage in transit. We can send you a postage label together with instructions on how to properly pack and send your faulty product for repairs. Once the service is complete, our authorised service technician will return your product to you. We’ll pay for shipping to and from your location if all packaging instructions were followed correctly.

What your guarantee doesn't cover

  • Accidental damage – For example if your product has been dropped or has liquid damage. You may find that this type of damage is covered by your household contents insurance policy.
  • Repair costs caused by external factors, fire, theft, and weather (including lightning damage), extreme temperatures or sunlight.
  • Repair costs caused by failure to follow our general care, maintenance instructions and installation guidelines.
  • Failure due to an incorrect or abnormal electrical supply, USB C lead connection or power surges.
  • Natural wear and tear and cosmetic damage such as scratches, dents, or fading, where the function of the product is unaffected.
  • Any loss suffered as a result of not being able to use the product.
  • Servicing, inspecting or cleaning of the product, and failure to follow our instructions.
  • Deliberate damage or neglect of the product.
  • Services for goods bought and used outside of the UK, the Isle of Man and the Channel Islands, the EU and North America.

Repairs following the expiry of the 2 year guarantee period

We champion the repairability of Tide.lamp and can provide spare parts, so please contact us for any support you need after the guarantee expires.

Care and maintenance of your Tide.lamp

We want you to continue to enjoy your Tide.lamp for many years, To keep it performing to its best we recommend these care and maintenance guidelines:

  • Avoid exposing the product to extreme environmental conditions
  • Clean the product gently using a soft, dry cloth
  • Handle the product with care to avoid damage to delicate components
  • Do not use cleaning sprays or immerse any part of the product in water

“This guarantee is provided in addition to your legal rights under consumer law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015 (UK), relevant EU directives, and applicable laws in the United States. You may choose to seek service under this guarantee or under your statutory consumer rights, which remain unaffected.”
